OK Health Rules

Cattle exhibiting at the National Junior Shorthorn Show & Youth Conference will need to meet the following health requirements:

Heifers, bulls and steers – less than 18 months old must have a health certificate.

Heifers and cows – older than 18 months old must have a health certificate with the animal’s ID from official USDA eartag.

Bulls – less than 17 months must have a health certificate and virgin certificate. If you don’t provide a virgin certificate then you must have a trichomoniasis test (less than 60 days before event) and no exposure to cows after the test.

Bulls – more than 18 months old must have a health certificate and must have a trichomoniasis test (less than 60 days before event) and no exposure to cows after the test.
